2053 of Czech Flax National Collection accessions are maintained in the collection at the end 2006. Digital image analysis (DIA) is used for the collection rationalisation. Part of collection represented by 979 X13 accessions (app. 48 % of the collection) was evaluated. Passport descriptors including ACCENUMB, ACCENAME, ORIGCTY, USE TYPE were taken into the analysis. Based on initial input data receiving two sets of X13 accessions (from 2004, 2006) have been evaluated by the cluster analysis and the accessions were divided into 40 clusters according to the similarity or distinguish in morphological traits. . Especially floral morphology was analysed and the DIA parametres like Area, MaxFeret, MinFeret, Circularity were calculated. These parametres havebeen analysed via basic statistical parametres (mean, standard deviation, range, coefficient of variance) and analysis of variance.

Jsou uvedeny výsledky studia pasportních a popisných deskriptorů národní kolekce lnu (Linum usitatissimum L.) a použití Digitální obrazové analýzy pro racionalizaci práce s kolekcí. Bylo hodnoceno 979 položek X13 z hlediska pasportních deskriptorů ACCENUMB, ACCENAME, ORIGCTY, USE TYPE shlukovou analýzou a jednotlivé položky byly rozděleny do 40 shluků. Byla posouzena květní morfologie pomocí parametrů obrazové analýzy Area, MaxFeret, MinFeret, Circularity. Tyto parametry byly dále analyzovány základnímistatistickými veličinami (průměr, směrodatná odchylka, rozpětí, koeficient variance) a analýzou variance, metodou mnohonásobného porovnávání. U některých duplikací byly zjištěny statisticky významné rozdíly v květní morfologii (velikost koruny), což vedlo ke zpochybnění posouzení těchto genotypů jako duplikovaných. Ty jsou dále vnímány jako odlišné a budou navrženy pro zařazení do core kolekce.
