Compositional assessment of transgenic and non-transgenic pea (Pisum sativum L.)
Original language description
The purpose of this study was to compare the seed chemical composition of pea transgenic lines containing a gene that expresses an amino acid sequence of coat protein of PSbMV with that of conventional non-transgenic pea. Compositional analyses were conducted to determine proteins, starch, amylose, resistant starch, fat, chlorophyll, minerals, ash and antinutritional compounds (trypsin inhibitors TIA).
