Original language description
A forecasting system of Phoma stem cancer in winter oilseed rape is introduced in the Czech Republic since 2008, supported through a grant of Ministry of Agriculture. Five departments are dealing with signaling of Phoma stem cancer incidence and prognosis of infection risk. Monitoring range includes 11 observation sites (Opava ? Raduň, Kujavy, Kluky, Chlumec nad Cidlinou, Zubří; Šumperk ? Šumperk, Rapotín, Prague ? Prague Uhříněves, Staňkov; Brno Žabčice; Kroměříž). The main method is to monitor the Leptosphaeria maculans / L. biglobosa ascospores airraid at 5 locations in period from winter rape sowing till mid-November. According to the ascospores airraid the potential risk of infection could be estimated in conjunction with the course of weather conditions and recommend to the fungicidal protection.
