Original language description
This paper is focused on observing CO2 emission tradable allowance and its behaviour in the Czech Republic. The results should serve as inputs to a new multiagent model of the EU emission allowances trading. Firstly, the general overview of the EU emission allowances trading system and environmental taxation background is presented. The second chapter, methodology and data, shortly describes the first proposal of a multiagent model of the EU emission allowances trading. The key chapter, results, presents a comparison of the EU emission allowances spot prices and environmental taxation in the Czech Republic; moreover this chapter focuses on identification of basic rules, which represent the behaviour of selected agent for the purposes of the basic single agent model creation. Finally, the public finance consequences are discussed.
