Corruption, public administration and regions in the Czech Republic from the perspective of the regional representatives

From December 2011 to February 2012, within the framework of the project ?Regions in the Czech Republic: Creating an Efficiency Model?, supported by the Czech Science Foundation, the authors of this article conducted a survey amongst regional representatives [1]. The aim of this research among the regional representatives was to find out the opinions and approaches to chosen topics of regional politics. By using the method of questionnaire survey focusing on regional representatives, the article presents the answers to several chosen questions which are connected to corruption. The article shows that the legal regulation gives a number of possibilities of fighting corruption efficiently. Various aspects of the types of law enable us, although some of them not explicitly, to fight the corrupt actions. The anticorruption measures in the public administration are concentrated mainly in the governmental Strategy against corruption for the year 2006 and 2011. Another significant measure for
