Original language description
This paper focuses on the comparison of average wages between the countries of the Visegrad Group and Germany. The authors have chosen selected terms and indicators, such as the values of average wages, their annual growth rates, and their average growth rate for the comparison. The work is based on using the methods of correlation analysis of selected indicators. The research identifies relations and trends in the years of 2012-2018. Results point out that countries of the Visegrad Group show a similar trend in progress of average wages. Moreover, the development of this measure reaches the similar level of progress as Germany – a country that is economically more developed.
