The research focuses on the issue of employability of the economic and managerial graduates on the labour market. The paper´s aim is to find out what knowledge of graduates of the Moravian Business College Olomouc (MVSO) is essential and useful for companies, what knowledge and skills graduates have and what their weaknesses are. The method used to obtain the data was a questionnaire survey, which helped to identify the real needs of the labour market. The evaluation of research brings useful information for future directing of the college and shaping the graduate profile. One of the important findings was that, despite the high level of practical training at the MVSO and the compulsory completion of practice, companies put the greatest emphasis on practical training. Thus, the article may positively influence the orientation and employability of future MVSO graduates on the labour market.
