WASTEWATER REUSE AND RECYCLING STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT
Original language description
Even if the total amount of water in the world remains the same, we observe a constant deterioration of water quality, water ecosystems and the surrounding environment of water courses and reservoirs. At the same time, the costs of treatment of surface and underground water for drinking water. For this reason, the pollution limits for wastewater treatment plants of all types are constantly being tightened, which increases the already high costs of their operation and often increases in the increased prices for wastewater. One of the possible solutions for reducing these costs, or at least maintaining them at the current level, is to invest in new technologies that will enable stricter limits to be met at the same or lower costs. If more than 60% of the cost of biological wastewater treatment is accounted for by the aeration process, it seems that there could be a significant reduction in financial costs using new technologies. The aim of the authors of this article is to present the strategic management of the repeated use of wastewater recycling.
