Based on summarizing the results of the author?s empirical survey on the application of best practices in human resource Based on the authors' scientific cooperation, research results and teaching experience the goal of the paper is to analyse differentviews of employers, graduates and universities on the employability of graduates from technical universities, especially from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Today, many employers are looking for specialists with higher education, but professional and personal qualities of most graduates often do not meet the requirements of employers. The results of the analysis support the idea that, with regard to the specific requirements of today's employers, the technical higher education must be directed to the development of relevant theoretical knowledge, practical skills and social habits of students.
