    Interdisciplinary workshop during which a group of scholars and students discussed possibilities of interconnecting various branches of humanities and different kinds of historical sources in research of one particular topic related to archaeology of Germanic peoples of the Migration Period and Early Middle Ages. The topic was related to archaeological finds of imported glass and ceramic vessels at Germanic burial sites from the Migration Period in the Czech Republic and other regions of Europe. Jiří Vávra (Labrys, o.p.s., Prague) informed about the excavation and finds of ceramic and glass vessels in Prague-Zličín. The lecture of Jaroslav Jiřík (Labrys, o.p.s.; Dept. of Prehistory and Early History of Charles University in Prague) showed the spread ofglass vessels in the Roman Empire and Barbaricum in the late antiquity, concerning also questions of technology, typology, social context and critique of distribution maps.
