Original language description
In patients hospitalised with acute heart failure those who stopped usingstatins – group B - had the worst 5 year survival than patients who either continuedwith statins after discharge or who were put on statins during hospital stay. This wasconfirmed for patients with ischemic heat disease. Statin use might be beneficial forpatients with acute heart failure of ischemic origin.
