Original language description
Carbofuran is a poison recently used to illegally kill piscivorous species and also other wildlife in the Czech Republic. Namely such species as Buteo buteo, Milvus sp., Circus sp., Haliaeetus albicilla, Vulpes vulpes, Lutra lutra, Martes foina and scavangers as Corvidae. Possible reasons of intentional poisoning are discussed and legal and institutional framework is described in the article.
