    Chronopotentiometric determination of permselectivity for heterogeneous ion exchange membranes at higher temperature

  • Original language description

    This work is focused on a method for determination of the permselectivity of ion exchange membranes. This method is well known and several times mentioned in the literature. It is also used for characterization of different types of membrane and for comparison of their properties. In this work was tested this method on characterization of samples of temperature resistant heterogenous ion exchange membranes at higher temperature, namely at 45 °C. The results at laboratory temperature and higher temperature were compared. Different experimental arrangements were tested and parameters were optimized in order to obtaine stable conditions. Optimization of evaluation was necessary to eliminate the influence of measurement conditions and to obtain well comparable results.
