Comparison of low-resistance ion-exchange membranes in electrodialysis from the perspective of energy consumption
Original language description
Electrodialysis (ED) is a method that utilizes ion-selective membranes to separate ions from an aqueous solution. This study focuses on measuring the electrical energy consumption during the desalination of an aqueous Na₂SO₄ solution using four different types of membranes and as a result evaluates the appropriate methodology for testing new membranes.
