The problem of social housing as an integral part of the municipal policy of the City of Prague between the Wars; the relation with the conception of the poor - social questions and the welfare work in the 19th century - the municipality was obliged to guarantee the basic needs of all its inhabitants with the Right of Domicile according to the law. Problém sociálního bydlení jako nedílná součást komunální politiky města Prahy v meziválečném období; návaznost na řešení chudinsko-sociálních otázek a péče o chudé v 19. století - obec ze zákona povinna zajišťovat potřeby všech svých domovských příslušníků.Příspěvek by se měl rovněž zaměřit na porovnání politických programů stran, zastoupených v komunální politice, ve vztahu k řešení sociálních otázek, speciálně problematiky sociálního bydlení. V architektonickém řešení sociálního bydlení se v pražskémprostředí střetly různé generace architektů i různé koncepce domovní a bytové výstavby, v nichž převážil tradiční koncept formy domů, bytů a sídlištních celků; ve 30. letech se začaly realizovat projekty mladé avantgardní generace architektů (vlivy funkcionalismu i socialistického realismu).Druhá základní linie pražské sociální výstavby se soustředila na řešení otázky specializované ústavní péče, spojující sociální péči se zdravotní; pražská obec vyřešila tento problém unikátním projekt
