The book is the result of the regionally-oriented historical research of a minor yet important locality of the village Milešov. Part of the book is dedicated to the landscape cotext and studies the landscape in the early Modern Era. The historical part deals with the earliest history of the locality and its surroundings as well as the significant era of the Kaplíř clan of Sulevice, Hrzán clan of Harasov, the history of the Milešov religious administration and the question of the Jewish settlement of Milešov. The prominent part of the book is represented by the description of the exceptional set of local monuments constructed mainly in the Medieval and Modern Eras.
