Corrosion Testing of Chemical Pre-treatment Based on Nanotechnology Applied to Low-Carbon Steel Sheet
Original language description
The aim of this paper is corrosion testing of chemical pre-treatment based on nanotechnology applied to low-carbon steel sheet. The microscopic analysis was performed and the state of the sheet metal was observed after the load in corrosive environment. As an experimental material were used metal sheets Q-panel Fe intended for laboratory tests, on which was applied the new chemical pre-treatment based on nanotechnology before coating. Coated sheets were exposed to the corrosive environment in several time periods. The changes in the properties of lacquered layer were depending on the time of corrosive action. Based on the results from the experiment were processed conclusions and recommendations for using the new type of chemical pre-treatment based onnanotechnology applied to low-carbon steel sheet in the practice.
