Tribodiagnostics as Essential Factor of Modern Maintenance Management
Original language description
Since increasing demand for dependability of manufacturing machinery accompanying with high requirements for manufactured quality the recent approach to Maintenance Management has experienced significant changes over the last years and shifted from subsequent maintenance or corrective maintenance model to prevention and prediction oriented maintenance. A demand for a comprehensive care system including means of machinery and tools monitoring is covered by requirements of ISO 9001:2009 and ISO/TS 16949:2009. Despite the theoretical models have already been closely described the difference between theory and the practice is still significant. The production organizations often underestimate the meaning of technical diagnostics and their role in OEE and QCD improvement. The article defines some current problems, provides a methodology of tribo-technical diagnostics, nowadays used advanced tools, and propose countermeasures for a continuous improvement.
