    Maintaining mechanical properties of strontium-modified aluminum alloy

  • Original language description

    Modifying the sub-eutectic siluminsis a common technique for improving material structure. Comprehensive knowledge of the production technology used is essential for efficient production of AlSi7Mg0.3 alloy parts with the highest quality. Therefore, an experiment was conducted in this study to allow statistical evaluation of Al-Si alloys. Subsequently, a complex strontium spread analysis was performed in the aluminum alloy microstructure. Another investigation was to analyze alloy morphology by using thelight and electron microscopy.The test specimens were prepared to study the mechanical properties that were subsequently subjected to a static tensile test.
