The International Workshop Plasma-based Products and Processes was intended to provide a short overview of both plasma assisted processes for surface modification and diagnostics of materials improved or produced by plasma technology. The invited lectures and special reports were given by participants that were mainly from industry and applied research outside the frame of the INCO-COPERNICUS project network. The topics of the workshop were recent industrial applications of plasma, plasma diagnostics, and propertiesof products obtained by plasma technology. About 30 scientists from seven countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germeny, Poland, Russia, Slovakia) were attended at the workshop and 10 invited contributions and special reports were presented.
