We have prepared the photosystem II (PSII) modified gold electrodes with the mediatorless electron transport using the conductive polymer polysulfobenzoquinone (PSBQ). Such electrode is suitable for construction of biosensor for PSII inhibiting herbicides as well as for other applications as are the photovoltaic cells.
