Original language description
The work deals with the preventive measures that can prevent or at least limit the emergence and subsequent development of forms of acute mountain sickness (AHN) during mountain hiking (trekking) at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level in the introduction, we focus on the notion of trekking, mountain sickness, altitude pulmonary edema, altitude cerebral edema. Furthermore, in our paper we review the most common causes leading to the creation of mountain sickness. The Communication aims to contribute to further knowledge in the prevention of acute and life-threatening forms of altitude sickness.
