Multicultural education as a way to inclusion

  • Original language description

Multicultural education is one of the so-called cross-cutting themes in the Czech education curricula. The role of these themes is to permeate through all subjects in the curriculum (not necessarily in every school year) and contribute to the complexityand holistic perspective on today's dynamically changing world. It does not occur as an individual subject but its thoughts and ideas should be implemented into other subjects. Similarly to other cross-cutting themes, its purpose is a reflection of the contemporary world's problems and their integration into the ordinary teaching framework
