An expectation of individuals is important factor which beside others influences preferences of aims as well as inner feelings, life satisfaction, quality of life etc. If we see partners having problems in their relationship caused by expectations, we could ask whether those expectations are similar or different, realistic or unrealistic and how it is affected by gender differences. The text focuses on expectations in the frame of gender roles - in which way men and women have similar or different expectations. It is important to know which expectations women and men have towards their partner, but also which expectations they think partner has towards them.
