The article focuses on the psychological, sociological and knowledge aspects of the ICT (Information and communication technologies) project teams' structure and internal social risks. The articles' goal is to present set of processes which can help withestablishing teams with better performance. Team work is essential to various types of projects (e.g. engineering, IT/ICT, risk management plans, disaster recovery, etc.). The first part of the article summarizes the important milestones of mapping, describing and evaluating social networks, the possibility of mapping networks of social relationship in the company. Relevant factors related with team and group performance are also mentioned. The second part of the article presents a process design thatsupports the ICT team leader's nominations, as well as the ICT team members, respecting their relationship structure, results of past cooperation, their experience and team roles.
