  • Original language description

Report explores the relationship between self-esteem and self-perception of the body in psychiatric patients. We assumed that the relationship to the physical-self in the mentally ill and in the general population would be different. In our pilot project,, we used the Physical Self-Perception Profile (Fox, K. R. & Corbin, C. B., Fox, K. R., 1989) questionnaire. The results of the questionnaires are compared to control groups varied more depending on the age of probands than depending on psychiatric diagnosis.
