View of contemporary landscape no presents time closely determinate reflection, mere picture with availability (validity) terminated in time, when was painted. Landscape itself preserves informations about its past, about fundamental and less fundamentaldevelopment shifts, which rise ?on surface" and show for intellectual understanding. Such finding of developmental landscape trajectories, knowledge about historical roots, limits, conflicts and potentials it is necessary for understanding contemporaryand possible function, behaviour and development of futurescapes. Availability of geographical sources and still raising accuracy of geographical information technologies make possible to formalizing the procedure of interpretation of historical land usechanges and proposing and then building up futurescape scenarios.

Czech description

Příspěvek je věnován analýzestrukturních a funkčních komponentů paměti krajiny jako prostředků k pochopení a dokumentaci jejího dlohodobého vývoje, resp. trajektorií tohoto vývoje. Poznatky o paměti, trajektoriích vývoje a dalších charakteristikách krajiny mohou dále přispět ke krajinnému plánování a návrhu optimálního využívání krajiny s úvahou veškerých limitů a potenciálů daného výseku krajiny, a taktéž k hodnocení rozmanitách scénářů budoucího vývoje krajiny.
