New approach to system level self-diagnosis
Original language description
The paper tackles the tasks of system level diagnosis. As distinct from existing solutions in this area, we suggest a new approach to diagnose system units. The suggested solution consists in that a unit is diagnosed not by other units, but by itself. Aunit utilises the tests that it performs on other systém units to diagnose itself. The paper considers different diagnosis models with various testing assignments and various faulty situations, such as permanent and intermittent faults. The diagnosis algorithms for permanent faults and the method for dealing with intermittent faults are developed.
