  • Original language description

The spinning apparatus and silks of haplogyne spider species Segestria senoculata has been studied za použití scanning electron microscopy and light microscopy. The presence of four categories of spigots connected with four types of spinning glands (tj. Glandulae ampullaceae major, Glandulae ampullaceae minor, Glandulae. piriformes and Glandulae. pseudaciniformes), first described by Glatz (1972) was redescribed and confirmed. For the first time byly popsány silk-producing organs jak u nymfálních, tak u adult stages obou pohlaví. A new data about morphology of spinnerets and spigots was obtained jak u adult, tak u nymphal stages. For the first time byla provedena SEM studie silken threads of retreats, signal threads and attachment discs. Výsledky studia spinning apparatus of S. senoculata byly porovnány se součsnými znalostmi silk producing systems of the families Dysderidae, Oonopidae a Orsolobidae.
