    Screening of polymers for CO2 sorption using molecular modeling led to the choice of PUR (polyurethane ) and PAN (polyacrylonitrile) as suitable membrane materials. The choice of TEPA as a modifying substance resulted from a series of experiments with different types of amines. Electrospun polymeric nanofiber membrane chemically modified with TEPA (Tetraethylene pentamine) for CO2 capture has been prepared using one-step electrospinning technology that means the modifying agent ? TEPA has been dissolved directly in spinning solution. Wire spinning (so called Nanospider technology) was used for manufacturing air permeable TEPA/polymer nanofiber membrane.
