The contribution deals with age and other structures of the population of the Ústí nad Labem region. The age structure in this region is much younger that in the rest of Czech republic. The aging index in region is the lowest out of all regions in the Czech republic. Also the average age in the northern region is the same as in northem Moravia and it is the lowest.
