The Czech co-operatives operate within the Czech Commerce Code, which push them to the market too fare and vast their social aspects (after 1938 and) after 1992 again. In such conditions it is not easy to develop the social role of co-operatives, nor thesocial co-operatives. No co-operative law exist in the Czech Republic today, and the international standards of co-operative identity are not applicable here. In the spite of this some social co-operatives are indicated in the Czech Republic till now, they are some productive co-operatives of handicapped for example. The network of the Czech co-operatives works.

Česká družstva jsou v současnosti podřízena obchodnímu zákoníku, který je tlačí daleko do tržního sektoru a devastuje jejich sociální roli po roce 1992. V těchto podmínkách se nemohou sociální družstva, ani sociální role družstev rozvíjet. Družstevní zákon v současnosti neexistuje a nelze aplikovat mezinárodní standardy družstevní identity. Navzdory tomu lze v České republice sociální družstva identifikovat (výrobní družstva invalidů), a také družstevní síť.
