The paper describes an approach to calculation of coal depletion adjusted NDP for the Czech Republic. In its first part the position of coal mining industry in the Czech economic structure is analyzed. In the next chapter the physical balance sheet for national exploitable coal deposits is presented. The final part of paper describes the methodological approach to resource rent and depletion calculation. After that the coal depletion adjusted NDP is calculated.
