Modified Navier Stokes Equation and Wall Turbulence
Original language description
Following recent studies with a previously derived incompressible post-Navier-Stokes equation, we apply this equation to the flow of turbulent fluid between two parallel flat plates. We find velocity profiles of a turbulent system that cannot be reproduced from the classical incompressible Navier-Stokes equation. We extend the analysis to the turbulent flow along a single wall and compare the results with the established controversial logarithmic law of the wall.
