A showcase of visual artists from Central and Eastern Europe in Ireland. The exhibition project Here, the Considered Line explored the phenomena of 'contemporary drawing with overlaps' and 'independent curating', building on previously published scholarly publications and long-term art-curatorial research. The project focused on independent presentations by the artists involved on an international stage, specifically in the West of Ireland, County Galway. The exhibition project reflected international artistic and curatorial practice undertaken in different contexts and communities. The exhibition project itself was programmed as part of the Clifden Art Festival, reaching an international audience beyond the local Irish art scene. The festival aimed to expand cultural activities on the west coast of County Galway, Ireland. Lastly, the international project Disclosure was part of curatorial research into the transformations of contemporary drawing and artistic exchange in independent gallery platforms. The exhibition project fulfilled its mission of internationalisation.
