Original language description
Determination of force components in grinding process is important information both for the process course and also for the process consequences in relation to the ground surface. It is held in the same way as by the other machining methods. The assessment of the forces in cylindrical grinding is problematic because there is a transfer of motion from the headstock on the ground workpiece in machining. The transfer limits the working space for the measurement. The stuck strain gauges, so far used, have anumber of weaknesses. Using of the Kistler sensor forms up the conditions for the high repeatability and accuracy of the measurement.
