    Results of field research realized during first hydrological restoration of the large North Bohemian open pit mine

  • Original language description

    The hydrological restoration of the former open pit mine Ležáky ? Most represents a unique restoration activity in the Czech Republic these days. The article briefly summarises the first results of the lake Most coast research. Main attention is dedicated to the geological situation of the former open pit Most ? Ležáky mine, to the history of its restoration, to the results of pedological and geological mapping of the lake coast, sampling in 20 research boreholes and to the results of laboratory analyses of soil samples. The first result of the research is a pedological map of the cost of the lake. The attention is devoted to the characteristics of main North Bohemian open pits mines, too.
