Series of long time complex measurements on running technologies for raw material mining and processing was carried out simultaneously to the measurements on a model belt conveyor. The study was made in the frame of the MPO project No. FR-TI1/537 ?Complex diagnostic system for belt conveyors? since 2009 to 2012. The article shows a comparison by measurement on the long distance belt conveyor using a verified contactless thermal imaging equipment and a brand new device MICROLOG CMXA80 with an ?Idler Sound Monitor? programme module.
