The influence of the local climate changes on the fresh air quality in the area of the hydric reclamation of the Lake Most
Original language description
Brown coal open pit mines in the North Bohemia region are slowly approaching their boarders and they are going step by step to the end of their operation. Planned and even already realized reclamation procedure in the region is based on the formation ofartificial lakes. The nature of the surface cover in the studied area has changed from mining landscapes without vegetation to the water area with ?green? surroundings after the hydrological reclamation of the residual pit of the quarry Most ? Ležáky. The local climate is significantly influenced within the warm part of the year, when the temperature of the water in the Lake is higher than the air temperature. The period of daily temporarily degraded local dispersion conditions is extended under certainmeteorological conditions and thus the time for the possible dilution of cumulated pollutants is shorter. The evaluation of the fresh air pollution development in the foothills of the ?Krušné hory? Mountain during the gradual filling of
