In October 2007 has been prepared by the World Road Association PIARC Road Accident Investigation Guidelines for Road Engineers. Creation provide Technical Committee - 3.1 ?Road Safety?, within the frame of activity for working group 1 ?Making cost ? effective road safety investment?. This methodology was authorized by PIARC and consecutively was disseminated to the developing country. It was published to the web site WHO (World Health Organisation).

V říjnu 2007 byla pro Světové silniční sdružení PIARC (World Road Association) vytvořena Metodika řešení dopravních nehod pro dopravní inženýry (Road Accident Investigation Guidelines for Road Engineers). Tvorbu zajistil technický výbor 3.1 (Technical Committee 3.1 ?Road Safety?) v rámci pracovní skupiny 1 ?Making cost-effective road safety investment?. Metodika byla poté tímto sdružením schválena a následně byla rozšířena do rozvojových zemí, byla uveřejněna na webu WHO (World Health Organisation).
