CDV has presented at the HUMANIST workshop the Driving simulator as a promising technology for the analysis of driving conditions and road users' behaviour in an attempt to tackle the problem of road accidents. Thanks to the high-tech simulation device CDV is able to reconstruct, analyse and understand the complex circumstances of accidents factors as well as to expose the experimental drivers to the same conditions as in real accidents. At the workshop, it was describing the process of generating simulator critical scenarios on the basis of in-depth Accident database in Czech Republic, implementation of driving styles algorithms developed in UDRIVE project and advanced interactive data analysis procedures using a high fidelity driving simulator.
