Practical verification of noise reduction by different types of noise barriers
Original language description
The paper describes field measurements of already built noise barriers and evaluation of their current status. 11 noise barriers from various materials, types and ages on the different places in the Czech Republic were measured. In situ measuring was carried out in accordance with the standard ISO 1996. The main focus of this paper is to compare directly the actual effects of the different types of noise barriers at its location. Therefore, short-term synchronous measurements were carried out in front of and behind the noise barrier.
