The Influence of the Burnout Syndrom on Professional Carers´ Attitudes to Old Age
Original language description
Results of a research assessing the incidence of the burn-out syndrom in the sample of nurses and caring personnel in homes for elderly during the period of transformation of the residential care in the CR and shows the relation between the burn-out syndrom and attitudes to ageing. Standardized instruments for the measurement of both indicators are described. The results showed that 1/3 of the staff had the signs of the burn-out syndrom, which had also affected their attitudes to ageing.

Czech description
Výsledky výzkumu, který hodnotí výskyt syndromu vyhoření ve vzorku zdravotních sester a pečujícího personálu z domovů důchodců v období transformace rezidenční péče pro seniory v ČR a hledá vztah mezi syndromem vyhoření a postoji ke stáří. Byly použity standardizované nástroje pro měření obou veličin. 1/3 pracovníků vykazovala varovné signály syndromu vyhoření. Vyhoření též ovlivnilo jejich postoj ke stáří.
