Original language name
A new detection tube to detect hydrogen cyanide in the air
Original language description
It was developed as a simple and highly sensitive detection tube, the measurement of hydrogen cyanide in air. Detector tube is based on the reaction of hydrogen cyanide with 4-nitrobenzilem give a violet colored product. The reaction takes place on a support formed from a composite material that consists of a mixture of microcrystalline cellulose pellets and MgO. The detection tube can detect hydrogen cyanide in the air in the concentration range of 0.1-25 mg / m3. The limit of detection is 0.05 mg/m3.Detector tube is sufficiently selective and stable in storage. Technical solutions see the utility model CZ24176.
