Evaluation of Halden Planner for optimization of routes in the area affected by radioactive contamination
Original language description
NRI develops methods and tools for support of emergency teams managing intervention activities during emergencies. In this context NRI evaluates Halden Planner for optimization of routes used by people represented by avatars in the virtual model of NPP Dukovany area. The radiation field calculated by tool for modelling the contaminant spread in the atmosphere previously developed in NRI is imported into the virtual model. With more avatars, moving simultaneously from the same starting position through the different routes, we are looking for an optimal route to shelters. Optimized route should have the least impact on the health of moving people. Submitted paper briefly describes the above mentioned activities and summarizes results and experience reached. Proceedings of the Man-Technology-Organisation Sessions, Halden, Norway, 2010.
