The paper presents some methods and ways of Czech NPPs Periodic Safety Review (PSR) implementation. The scientific team from Nuclear Research Institute Rez elaborated analysis of IAEA and NEA standards and recommendations. Based on the analysis methodology and evaluation criteria were proposed and confirmed by Czech regulatory body. NPP Dukovany was successfully assessed first in 2005 after 20 years of operation. Methodology of NPP Temelín assessment was modified and performed in 2008 according to WENRArequirements. The assessment will be repeated after next 10 years of operation. Corrective actions programme?s for both NPPs was prepared and included into Long Term Operation project. This action programme assures elimination of all insufficiencies discovered during the PSRs.
