Multi-scale thermalhydraulic analyses performed in Nuresim and Nurisp project
Original language description
The paper presents thermal-hydraulic analyses which were performed within the NURESIM and the NURISP projects (6th and 7th European Framework Programmes). These projects were aimed at development of a reference multi-physics and multi-scale platform fornuclear reactor simulations. The multiscale approach was used for numerical simulations of important phenomena in nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulics, namely pressurized thermal shock, critical heat flux, reflooding, condensation induced water hammer andcore thermal hydraulics.
