The presentation was made on the OECD NEA internal workshop on Fire PRA in Garching, 28.-30.4.2014. The topic of the presentation is the process of fire risk analysis and the way, PSA methods can be used to identify the dominant fire risk contributors. An example of key fire risk contributor relevant for NPP Dukovany is given and analyzed. It is pointed out that the relative contribution of fires to the overall nuclear power plant operation risk is low. Some specific challenges of future fire risk analysis are given in the final part of the presentation.
