Various loads in a microgrid with hydrogen energy storage
Original language description
In the paper the MATLAB model of power flow in off-grid system with renewable energy sources (solar power plant) and the hydrogen energy storage (HES) is the basis for examining of influence of various loads on its sizing and power management. The model of HES consists of the alkaline electrolyzer, the PEM fuel cell and the hydrogen tank (inverters are omitted). The Newton - Raphson method is used for solving power flow problem. The various problems of a small off-grid industrial area (convenient voltage level, voltage drop, the transients) are examined with the help of the model and the household area as a load is briefly discussed.
