The chapter analyzes the European Parliament elections in the Czech Republic. The campaing si analyzed regarding the at that time important topics, reflecting the citizen´s agenda. The chapter shows that political parties were not able to reflect the topics raised by civil society groups, which contributed to a very low election turnout.
